About Me

Hi! I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Engineering at the University of Tehran. My research interests lie at the intersection of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. I am particularly interested in robustness and generalization, especially in understanding how large-scale models behave under distribution shifts and in complex real-world settings.

Research Internships

I have been fortunate to work with some amazing researchers and professors.

  1. University of Waterloo
Evaluating the performance of vision-language models across diverse real-world tasks.

  2. Chinese University of Hong Kong
Certifying the performance of machine learning models under distribution shifts.

  3. University of Stuttgart
Analyzing diachronic semantic shifts of compounds to model present-day compositionality.

Miscellaneous

I like reading (lately I’ve been a fan of Kazuo Ishiguro), crochet, and playing santoor.
